Dauntless DC: Thank you for laying down such an impressive foundation for your successors to build upon. For the past couple of years, and especially this last one, you all have been the most influential people that I’ve met along my journey. You are an exceptional group of doers, creators, innovators, and leaders. You have set the bar almost impossibly high; this is not a complaint, but a thank you. The challenge that you’ve presented us with has been accepted.
Dynamo DC: Thank you for assuring me that this upcoming year will be a record-breaking one. My self-doubts have been eclipsed by the overwhelming love and support that I have received from you all over the past few days during and since the retreat. We are explosive, ambitious, and passionate. We are movers and shakers. We are visionaries, leaders, and above all, a family with one goal: service.
Interact District 5170: Thank you for showing me support, love, and guidance. I am who I am as a result of every single person in this district; in moments of weakness I am inspired by your goodwill, passion, and selflessness. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to better myself as a human being so that I can in turn be a better member of society. I cannot wait to give back to the district that has given me the world.
My ship has been nestled safely in its harbor for quite sometime. It seems to be getting a little bit restless, because that's not what ships are built for. I'm more than ready to navigate into this new year with daunting responsibilities and hopefully rewarding experiences with these people alongside me.
